FileTravel provides administrative and invoicing support to self-employed contractors working overseas. We prepare and issue invoices to your agency or end client based on your submitted timesheets, use reasonable endeavours to collect payment, and upon receipt of funds transfer the balance to you after deduction of our agreed fee.

FileTravel supports contractors working outside of the UK and Isle of Man. As long as you are operating as a self-employed contractor and have a contract with an agency or end client, our service can be used to support your invoicing and payment administration.

No. You operate as an independent, self-employed contractor. FileTravel does not employ you, and nothing in our service creates an employment, agency, or partnership relationship.

No. You are responsible for your own tax affairs and any statutory obligations including any employment of record obligations in the relevant jurisdiction. FileTravel does not provide tax advice, but we can introduce you to independent advisers if required.

You submit your approved timesheet and any supporting documentation to us. We prepare and send an invoice to your agency or end client. Once payment is received, we deduct our agreed fee and transfer the balance to your nominated bank account.

Once funds have been received from your agency or end client, we will transfer the balance to you within a reasonable timeframe. Please note that payment timing is dependent on the payment terms agreed between your agency or end client and FileTravel.

FileTravel operates on a fixed monthly fee for its services. This fee is deducted from payments received under your contract. No fees are charged when you are not working.

Yes. Professional indemnity insurance is included within our fixed monthly fee, subject to applicable terms and exclusions.

No. As a self-employed contractor, you are free to work with multiple agencies or end clients, subject to the terms of your contract.

Timesheets should be submitted to FileTravel in accordance with your onboarding instructions. If you need assistance, please contact us and we will guide you through the process.

No. FileTravel is not a recruitment agency. We provide administrative and invoicing support once you have secured a contract.
